Coahuila remains one of Mexico's most important states for legal hunting and hunting tourism. Ranches and UMAs across different regions continue receiving national and international hunters interested in white-tailed deer, feral hog and wild turkey.
Authorities and producers highlight that the activity continues to generate meaningful economic impact for rural areas while supporting conservation programs and sustainable wildlife management.
The state also maintains one of the largest concentrations of registered UMAs for hunting use in the country.
